Our initial consultation provides you with an opportunity to discuss any questions you may have about:
- Laws, regulations, and the legal process affecting your case
- Potential results, outcomes and consequences
- Potential costs
To help us provide you with the best possible information about your matter, it is highly recommended that you prepare for your initial consultation with us. Be sure to bring any documents, evidence, or other paperwork you have regarding your case.
For criminal cases, helpful paperwork includes any police citations or reports, court notices to appear, and any other written evidence you believe may affect your case.
For divorce, custody, or other civil cases or lawsuits, any pending court filings or other paperwork you have in your possession may be helpful for your consultation.
If you do not have these documents, we can help you obtain them. During your consultation, we will review your case details and give you an idea of what you may expect as your case proceeds through the judicial process.
If possible, it is recommended that you document, in writing, everything you remember about the incident for which you were arrested, or to support your claims in divorce or other civil cases.
This will help us in representing you, and help you remember the facts, recall important information you may have initially forgotten, and bring to mind any questions you may wish to ask during your initial consultation with us.
Being prepared will greatly help your chances for a positive outcome in your case.
